Shipments Delivery and Returns

Your items Shipment and Delivery

To ensure a hassle free experience we recommend you read the following; if unclear please contact us:

- We only allow pickup under specific circumstances i.e. if the item is very large or by prior arrangement

- We do not do drop-off's


Our shipping & delivery is by the following preferred methods:

- Australia Post Registered & Insured Post. This ensures the item is tracked, insured and also requires a signature when delivered. Pricing varies per item value and distance.

- Your chosen courier company. You can ask us to ship via courier - this may incur higher fees. Once again we recommend the item be insured via courier as well. Pricing varies per item value and distance.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We can ship standard post, Express Post or uninsured courier - be advised that neither is preferred and we have had experiences where items are either lost or damaged in transit. Australia Post's compensation is very low (approx $50) if at all; the amount of hoops you need to jump through makes it very difficult - just as they would like it. Therefore if you request these two options we will not take any responsibility for your package after we post it.

Postage and Handling Costs

We calculate Postage costs via this website:

Handling charges

Our handling fee's are based on size and materials. It covers us wrapping the item to ensure safe delivery as well as boxes time taken ect. It's a modest fee to ensure you get your item as expected.

 

Handling Fee's

Anything that fits into a standard 3kg Registered post satchel is $4

Anything that requires a medium box of up to 50cm x 20 cm x 30cm $8

Anything over 50cm x 20 cm x 30cm is at $12

 

Dispatch

Packages are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment - if it takes longer we will advise. We will advise you of the tracking number.

We advise you to group your items in one order and save on shipping.


 

Fragile items

We take special care to ensure fragile objects are well packed in bubblewrap and not in the same package as heavy metal objects - glass and iron don't mix well when thrown about by postal workers.

If you do order glass objects perhaps best not order heavy metal items on the same order - if you do choose to have it all in one order we may contact you to see how you would like it shipped.

Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.

 

Ordering special items or items not in stock

If you ask us to go looking for a special item we might take some time to find it or have it arrive. As you can appreciate - these parts are not readily available off the shelf.

The following will occur:

1. You provide us with pictures and part numbers (if possible)

2. Once we locate the item we will provide you with as many pictures and details as possible (part #'s etc) as well as a shipped price

3. Should you agree to purchase the item we will require the item paid for upfront

4. We will then order the items and advise the delivery timeframe and ensure it arrives to you as per all our other stocked items



NOTE: We do not do special order items unless they are pre-paid.

 

Returns

Our returns policy is simple.

Our items are marked clearly with photos and part numbers showing the item you will receive - Returns and Refunds will be accepted ONLY where we have shipped either an incorrect shipped part or a part that was advertised incorrectly i.e. the listed item does not match the vehicle it was sold for.

If you receive an item that is not the same as what was ordered (as shown online) we will gladly accept the item back and pay for the shipping as well - this would be our error; so we see no reason for you to have to wear our mistake.

In short - please ensure what you order and pay for is what you require.

 

 

Damaged Goods

All items will leave our hands as shown in the images online.

In the rare event that your package arrives in poor condition you should stop; do not sign for it or accept the item straight away hoping what is inside if going to be ok.

You should ask the delivery person to either do one of two things - either send them away and have it marked as damaged delivery OR Accept the item on the proviso that they mark the package into their system as a damaged box - you might even get them to sign a document you keep as them agreeing that the box is damaged.

We do not accept liability or responsibility for the delivery actions of courier companies or Australia Post.

You will need to make the claim to the relvant carrier for compensation or similar.

 

 

Cancellation of Orders

Once an order has been submitted and paid for the order will be shipped - this is not a store and it's not amateur hour - if you order and pay the transaction is final.

Orders submitted must be paid for within 3 business days unless discussed with NOS Alfa Shop - orders where customers do not respond to emails will be cancelled and the product made available to others who are truly interested. I cannot read your mind or know that you are going to respond within the week. I respond to emails within 24 hours - it's polite to advise if you're not going to be able to do so in a timely manner.
